 PTFA - Parents, Teachers & Friends Association

Coldean Primary School saw the birth of our PTFA in Autumn 2019. It was formed by a dedicated group of parents who wanted to work in partnership with the school: raising funds, volunteering their time, and providing general support to enrich school life for all children. Since then, the PTFA has continued to grow, bringing together families and staff to help create opportunities, experiences, and improvements that benefit our whole school community.

WHO CAN BECOME A MEMBER OF THE PTFA?

We welcome everyone who has a child at Coldean, or who has responsibility for a child at the school. The number one reason for supporting the PTFA is to benefit our pupils — helping to give them the very best experience of school life. In turn, this also provides valuable support to the school as a whole. Everyone is welcome!

VOLUNTEERING

We would love more of you to join us! We understand everyone has busy lives and varying commitments, help can come in many different ways. You can give as little or as much time as you like:

• Become a core committee member

• Attend occasional meetings

• Help at events

• Support with event preparation

Interested in getting involved? We understand that everyone has busy lives with varying commitments and help can come in many different ways. For parents or carers it could be giving an hour of your time once a week to help out at the school, buying a cupcake from a stall or purchasing tickets for the tombola! As the PTFA grows, we look forward to benefiting the wider community as a whole.
